Documentation:

1. Original ocean bill of lading / air waybill. Container Manifest

2. Passport and work visa.

3. Work permit of letter of exemption. (may take a minimum of 5 weeks to obtain).

4. Original certificate of residence.

5. Photocopy of work contract or statement (in Polish) by employer.

6. Inventory.

7. Copy of company trade registration.

8. Photographic - in duplicate - of all pictures, painting, old furniture, antiques and all items manufactured before 1945.

Restricted items:

1. Narcotics / drugs

2. Firearm and Ammunition..

3. Pornography.

4. Alcohol and tobacco.

Duties:

• No customs duties or taxes collect on the importation of genuine HHG/PE for eligible foreigners taking up residence for more than six months. However, this is subject to ultimate re-exportation of all durable items including domestic appliances, cars and other higher value items brought in non-commercial quantities.  Generally one of each item would be admitted duty free. Antiques and painting: all such items should be clearly marked on the inventory and stowed for easy access at customs inspection.

Vehicles:

• Original title or registration is required. If automobile is new the original bill of sale is also necessary and if used a Performa invoice is required.
