Documentation:

1. Original ocean bill of lading / air waybill. Container Manifest

2. Valid passport.

3. Inventory.

4. Invoices on new items

5. Evidence that shipper will stay in Cyprus over one year,i.e. rental agreement and/or contract lease and residence permit.

Restricted items:

1. Narcotics

Firearm/Weapon:

• One air gun and one shotgun allowed if at least 1 year old. Police permit and Import License required.

Alcoholic Beverages/tobacco:

• All items dutiable.

Duties:

• Duty free entry for used HHG/PE if goods have been and possessed by the shipper for at least 1 year outside Cyprus.

Vehicles:

• Documents required: 3 notarized copies of the vehicle tittle;driver license;purchase documents;vehicle registration and local insurance certificate. Ocean bill of lading in the name of the importer. Importer allowed to clear under temporary importation procedures provided he has been more than 1 year abroad past 2 years. Temporary importation-duty and TRL free. Foreign residence intending to reside permanently-TRL and registration circulation fees payable, Diplomats - duty and TRL free.
